BUTUAN CITY (May 9) -- The Overseas Workers’ Welfare Administration (OWWA) announced recently nine incoming freshmen college students who qualified in two types of scholarship programs sponsored by the agency... 

In the Education for Development Scholarship Program (EDSP), five qualifies from this region. Jessa May Alipao from Surigao City topped the regional ranking with 99.39 total percentage rate, followed by Nikki Mariz Depay of Bislig City with 99.09 percent. The third, fourth and fifth placers were grabbed by John Yves Esteves, Rhony Carrido Sanusi, and Mark Angelo Neri, all from Butuan City, each have percentage rate of 95.81, 88.97, and 84.39, respectively...

EDSP scholars, on the other hand, can enroll in any baccalaureat courses and will be receiving a total package of P30,000.00 per semester inclusive of tuition and other school fees, monthly stipend, uniform and book allowance....

I LOVE, am addicted, is totally obsessed with, will totally die for, and will most willingly live my life.... and LOVE Anime! Japanese anime to be precise.

2. I Love Coffee. All types. All because they keep me company (nowadays)... along with my books, calculator, pen, pencils, paper, reviewers, notes, hand-outs... you get the idea. (if you don't get it... ewan ko nalang...)

3.  I talk A LOT! Haha... And blabber at times... Which may suddenly turn into singing mnemonics, or random stuff... and CAN turn into talking and shouting fits when anime becomes the topic. *wink~*

4. I am currently in a KILL mode because of my HELLISH org chem exam this morning. I usually go BERSERKer mode after tight pressures... which leads to me spending way too much (not really!) for anime stuff! I just did! haha! 500p in one transaction! ^^

5. I am an obsessed SasuSaku Fan! ^^ haha! Yay! Go SasuSaku! ^^ I have all things SasuSaku! Especially pictures! yey! haha! If you have anything SasuSaku to share, please do share it with me! Arigatou! ^^

6. I like anime-japanese related stuff... Like learning the language and all. Not to mention Singing Japanese songs and Anime songs! ^^ I'm especially familiar with Naruto Op and Ends! ^^

7. I WANT to pursue Medicine. Hopefully I will be VERY motivated to do so and I will BE ABLE to really do so in the future.

8. I have a little stuffed toy with me in bed. everytime I sleep I talk to it, or hold it or just play with it. It's a brown dog. ^^

9. I have this weird hobby of doing marathons that last me 'till 7 AM in the morning. Haha.. Which leads to me waking up at around 2pm... earliest perhaps. ~these are DVD marathons or movie marathons, anime marathons and such. :)

10. My name Nikki, when translated in Japanese, actually means Diary. I have one too... Well, it's more like a journal or a written blog. When I first learned my name's meaning, I said... "Wow! Kung may walking dictionary, AKO ang LIVING DIARY!" hAhaha.. *ang chorva*

I do!
Since I get to bask in sleep round the clock and more, get to breath in as much air as I want without worrying of my lungs getting congested, infected, or annihilated.
I also have the time of my life in indulging myself with dvds, anime, jdorama, korean movies, anime, anime and more of anime! (SHUT UP! I know what you're thinking)

Oh. okay. So summer. yeah. I love it!
It's also one of the times you get to strip yourself off the hook of schoolwork and stuff.
Also one of the rare times I get to think nothing related to school.(DITCH THE BASTARDS!)

Back to summer. So yeah, Bad thing is I don't get allowance.
But WTH!? I still get to ask money from parents if I needed some. It's not like I'm deprived of food, shelter, or clothing...like duh..!!!???

I really like summer. Honest!
In fact, I'm gonna get the chance to go and bask in one of our city's large/wide waterfalls tomorrow (tinuy-an falls). (show you the picture after.) Yeah. I was hoping for the beach but the transpo isn't here... out there in the pacific ocean, fishing... *swim, swim!* (cracked me!)

BUT KNOW WHAT!????
I won't be able to bask in the goodness of all of these since I get to have SUMMER CLASSES!!! WTH!??? (shut up! I'm not talking to you! like duh...) *sorry for random moment*

But yeah. It's a necessity. A needed endeavor for me to achieve my dreams! (hell yeah!)

I know its getting tough and all... but I think I need to blog about my nonsense sentimentals and whatevers..

I hate valentines day... (bitter ba?) not because I'm single and all.. (I am very very happy about being one..honest!)

It's because everything on this day is commercialized!!! FREAKING commercialized! from the chocolates to the flowers to the restaurants to everything!!! Grrrr...

I mean, yeah... merchants do these stuff to raise sales and profit since people spend much during these occasions, but heck!!! Shouldn't we at least give respect to the real meaning of the day...

UHhhh... Guys start to think that if they have given you a hundreds worth of flowers its already more than enough! C'mon... I am not (girls are not) born to get paid with flowers! your moms didn't give birth to you to get paid... There's more than buying and giving only you know...

To start off, you can give LOVE. As in LOVE! yeah! you heard me right. not in material things per se (although we like them), but in actions (even how small they are) which show care and the importance of the person. Little deeds done with all your heart to make us feel special mean all the world to us...

Actually, these things don't stop with what I have said. There are more to these if you only use your imagination...
